Robert Berube has over 30 years of major and planned giving experience, is a Certified Financial Planner and holds a Series 7 Securities License. Before joining TGC, he served as a Director of Gift Planning in the Dignity Health System (Catholic West). The most successful program of Bob’s tenure was during his 15 years at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, averaging over $1.3 million a year in irrevocable commitments. Bob established St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s Western Office and has held development positions with his alma mater, Cornell University, as well as the University of California, Irvine and University of California, San Diego. Altogether, he has been actively involved in philanthropic gifts exceeding $100 million. Bob served as an Air Force Officer and was honorably discharged with the rank of Captain. He has been married for 44 years and resides in Laguna Niguel, California.
