Heather Crowley, M.A.

Principle & Chief Creative Officer

Heather joined The Giving Collaborative in 2012 after working with the team in her capacity as the Director of Development for a nonprofit organization focused on hospice care. Heather has utilized her experience in nonprofit development and corporate marketing and communications to help clients build programs designed to deliver innovative solutions to fundraising challenges.

Heather’s area of expertise is developing compelling communication vehicles to engage current and prospective donors while ensuring that the organization’s vision is delivered. She has designed, developed, and implemented capital campaigns for clients and worked with Leadership and Boards to help initiate more philanthropically focused cultures.

She is adept at working with groups and fostering an atmosphere of cohesion and cooperation. Heather has conducted various Feasibility Studies for a range of clients and secures in-depth and detailed information through interviewing, which, in turn, provides vital information to the client considering a formal campaign. Before working exclusively in the not-for-profit sector, Heather held positions in the United States and Asia and has done for leading consumer brand companies Mead, The Rockport Company, V.F. Corporation, and Reebok.

Heather holds her undergraduate degree from Stonehill College in Easton, MA, and her Master’s degree from Bridgewater State University. Heather lives on the South Shore, near Boston, and enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering in her community.
