Don has spent 30+ years in fundraising, including Widener University, Florida Tech, and Robert Morris University. He has successfully held key advancement roles, including Director of Alumni Relations, Director of Development; Director of Planned Giving; Director of Major Gifts; Campaign Director; and Vice President & Chief Development Officer. Even while in the for-profit sector, Don was deeply involved in philanthropy.
As a licensed attorney, Don founded a charitable trust administration company that helped to democratize planned giving by eliminating barriers and lowering financial thresholds. This allowed donors of lesser means to obtain charitable trusts’ tax, estate, and financial planning benefits. Don lives on Martha’s Vineyard with his partner Anthony, and they enjoy golfing and spending time with their family and friends in their spare time.
