Shawn serves as a Principal at The Giving Collaborative. She is a Board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Shawn uses a passion for nurturing care experiences that lend expertise to help organizations understand why mission, clinical outcomes, and patient experiences are crucial to your organization’s philanthropic well-being.
In addition, she is committed to health education and empowering care partnerships. Shawn has been a valuable member of the healthcare system for 25 years. Her personal and professional life experiences have allowed her to advocate for the importance of integrating a healthcare model with the reality of each patient’s individual life story. Shawn founded Women’s Intuition and Self-Healing, a private healthcare practice inviting a physical, emotional, and spiritual paradigm of health and healing. Shawn holds degrees from Wheaton College, Marymount University, and Drexel University. Shawn enjoys the salty air and creative arts with her husband and three children living on the Connecticut shoreline.
