Jaime Weller-Lafavor, MSW

Jaime is well-versed in assessing risk, developing solutions, and implementing positive changes to achieve sustainability and growth. She is skilled in identifying opportunities and implementing practical business strategies, committed to staying informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices. Jaime is adept at building and strengthening business relationships. She is a collaborative professional known for her passion for serving with a relentless work ethic.  Jaime holds a dual Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Northern Arizona University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She is a 2017 Jameson Fellow and held certification as a Grant Certified Professional (GPC) until 2018. Additionally, she attended five of seven intensive educational tracks with the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy – Madison Institute. In 2020, Jaime received the 2020 Top Tech – Nonprofit Sector Award for her efforts to build infrastructure to support distance learning during COVID-19 school closures.

Most recently, Jaime served on the Nevada Afterschool Network Strategic Leadership Council and Public Policy Committee. She previously held the positions of Membership Chair and Treasurer for the Nevada Chapter of the Grant Professionals Association during her five-year tenure. Additionally, she served three years as the Corporate Secretary at the Stillpoint Center for Spiritual Development. Lastly, Jaime was a proud Girl Scout Leader for her daughter’s troop for a total of five years. A native of Las Vegas, NV, Jaime, her husband Mark, and their three adult children live in Las Vegas, NV, and enjoy spending much of their free time traveling and enjoying the outdoors.
