This week we are headed to the CASE Europe Annual Conference in Birmingham, England. CASE (the Council for Advancement and Support in Education), works with its members to develop stronger relationships with alumni and donors, raises funds for campus projects, produces recruitment materials, markets member institutions to students, aims to diversify the profession, and encourages the support of education.
Having worked extensively with academic institutions in the US, we are extremely excited to share what we’ve learned through our projects with our colleagues in the UK. Likewise, we are looking forward to learning about what schools and universities in Europe are doing to foster the support of education and translating those successes into new and innovative ways of helping our clients achieve their fundraising goals.
A new school year, an influx of new students and parents, a great opportunity to begin thinking about new ideas to cultivate and steward donors. We are looking forward to bringing home new ideas (and maybe some duty-free) and can’t wait to share what we learn with our clients!
