Sharon’s career has spanned international and domestic service in both the corporate and non-profit sectors for more than 30 years. She has managed projects in the UK as a senior consultant selling to multi-national clients. In Budapest, Hungary, and Warsaw, Poland. Sharon served on several executive boards within non-profit expatriate organizations devoted to charitable institutions. In Budapest, she led fundraising efforts for the International Women’s Group and later assumed the position of vice president of membership in Warsaw. As first vice president, she worked closely with the organization’s president. These initiatives cultivated and shaped Sharon’s passion for philanthropy and volunteerism and inspired her continued non-profit service in the U.S. Since 2007, Sharon has been actively involved in the non-profit community in her home city of New Canaan, Connecticut, establishing her own non-profit. In addition to her role with TGC, Sharon serves on three nonprofit boards in the arts, healthcare, and community foundation disciplines, each respectively for six years.
